Role Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overall operational leadership, governance, and performance management across all departments including HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Legal, and Compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capability, who can align departmental operations with organizational goals, ensure compliance, optimize processes, and drive sustainable growth.


Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Operations & Strategic Management

· Oversee end-to-end operations across all departments to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.

· Translate organizational strategy into actionable operational plans and KPIs.

· Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.

· Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on operational risks, performance, and growth opportunities.

2. Human Resources Oversight

· Monitor HR operations including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll coordination, and employee engagement.

· Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices comply with applicable labor laws and company standards.


3. Finance & Budget Management

· Oversee financial operations in coordination with the Finance team.

· Review budgets, forecasts, MIS reports, and cost controls to ensure financial discipline.

· Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial risks.

· Support audits and ensure financial compliance and governance.


4. Sales & Marketing Operations

· Monitor sales and marketing performance against targets and strategic plans.

· Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and business objectives.

· Review pipelines, revenue forecasts, campaign performance, and market expansion initiatives.

· Support process improvements to enhance customer acquisition and retention.


5. Technology & Systems Management

· Oversee technology operations, internal systems, and IT governance.

· Ensure systems, tools, and platforms support business scalability, data security, and operational efficiency.

· Coordinate with technology teams on implementation, upgrades, and risk management.


6. Legal & Compliance Oversight

· Ensure adherence to all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements across regions of operation.

· Monitor contracts, agreements, and vendor compliance in coordination with legal advisors.

· Establish and maintain internal controls, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.

· Identify and mitigate operational, legal, and compliance risks.


7. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination

· Act as a single point of coordination across departments to ensure seamless communication and execution.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including leadership, auditors, legal consultants, vendors, and partners.

· Lead cross-functional reviews, operational meetings, and performance discussions.


8. Reporting & Governance

· Prepare and present regular operational reports, dashboards, and reviews to senior management.

· Track KPIs, SLAs, and departmental performance metrics.

· Ensure documentation, SOPs, and governance standards are followed consistently.


Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.

· Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Experience Requirements

· 5+ years of progressive experience in operations, business management, or leadership roles.

· Proven experience managing multi-functional teams across HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Compliance.

· Experience working with senior leadership and handling complex organizational operations.
